The MAXIMUM number attending a public or private dance, or similar function, is ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY and the MAXIMUM seated capacity for Concerts, etc. is ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THESENUMBERS BE EXCEEDED.

Performing rights: N.B. Oxton Village Hall Premises Licence (no 001954) covers Public Entertainment (Music and Dancing), Theatre Licence and the consumption of Alcohol. It is the duty of the hirer to obtain permission for the performance of any musical, dramatic work, lecture, etc. on which copyright exists.

Playing field. If you intend to use the playing field (other than the children’s playground) please contact the Clerk to the Parish Council: ljparishclerk@gmail.com

Is ALCOHOL to be consumed on the premisis?

SECTION 2

Consumption of Alcohol and drugs policy

Oxton Village Hall holds a Premises Licence (no.001954) under the Licensing Act 2003 issued by Newark & Sherwood District Council.

The Hirer shall ensure that in order to avoid disturbing neighbours and to avoid violent or criminal behaviour, care shall be taken to avoid excessive consumption of alcohol. Drunk and disorderly behaviour shall not be permitted either on the premises or in its immediate vicinity. Alcohol shall not be served to any person suspected of being drunk or to any person suspected of being under the age of 18. Any person suspected of being drunk, under the influence of drugs or who is behaving in a violent or disorderly way shall be asked to leave the premises. No illegal drugs may be brought onto the premises.

Payments

Payment should ideally be by bank transfer to Nat West Bank - Account no: 97116823 Sort code 60 20 15, no later than 7 days following issuing of the invoice. Hirers should include the invoice number as the reference on bank transfers, and if paying by cheque, to write the invoice number on the back. If you need to pay by other means or have any queries please contact the Treasurer at oxtonvhtreas@gmail.com
